New to Wea Ridge Baptist?
Here's what to expect this Sunday Morning...
When you drive on into our parking lot, feel free to park wherever you wish, over by the side door there are reserved spots for visitors as well as handicap parking spots.
You can come on in the front doors (under the metal awning) and you will be greeted by a staff member who will hand you a bulletin full of upcoming events and the order of service. You can also find bulletins in the foyer outside of the auditorium.
Walking into the fellowship hall, there are donuts and coffee provided to help you get your morning started.
Sunday Morning Bible Study (9:30 AM)
At 9:30 AM we begin our Sunday Morning Bible Study time, Children, Teens, Single Adults, and Senior Ladies meet down in their designated classrooms in the Sunday School hallway, while Senior men meet in Pastor Dan’s office, and the regular Adult REVELATION Bible Study meets in the auditorium.
Worship Service (10:30 AM)
At 10:30 AM our worship service begins in the auditorium, we usually begin with either a reading of scripture or a Pre-Worship song. Worship is done in both traditional and modern styles, everything from the oldest hymns, to the newest contemporary Christian music.
After singing we then have an opportunity for you to give as our offering plates are passed through, and then we will continue worship with a couple more songs.
We then continue into our sermon, usually presented by Pastor Dan Sager. Children in 3rd grade on down will be dismissed for children’s church down in the children’s Sunday School classroom.
The entire service typically consists of around 90 minutes of prayer, teaching, music and scripture. We usually dismiss around 12:00PM
What do I need to bring?
You don’t need to bring anything, but if you have a Bible it will help you follow along and understand the message. The Pastor and teachers will read from the New King James Version (NKJV) and Bibles are available in the chair racks in the auditorium.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code. You will see many men in a jacket and tie and many women in skirts or dresses, while others choose to dress more casually. We do ask that you remember this is the Lord’s House and to please try to dress respectfully with that in mind.
Who should I see if I have questions?
The ushers at the auditorium doors are always near to answer any questions, for spiritual questions the pastor is available following the service. Let him know you would like to meet with him as he greets you at the exit.
